My Why
Yoga has been woven through my life since I was young. I first stepped onto the mat as a teenager, practising alongside my mum and discovering a rare sense of stillness — a place where the outside world could fade away and I could truly drop into my body, my breath and my awareness.
As I grew older and moved through experiences of heartbreak, grief and depression, I found myself longing for that same sense of inner quiet. This is when meditation entered my life and opened the door to a much deeper journey of healing. Through consistent practice, I began meeting parts of myself I had never fully acknowledged before. Slowly, I learnt how to regulate my emotions, trust my intuition, use my voice and reconnect with a genuine love for life.
This transformation became the catalyst for my path as a teacher. I realised I didn’t simply want to guide people through movement — I wanted to help them experience the powerful shift that happens when we truly reconnect with ourselves from the inside out and the healing that can happen as a result.
My teaching style is gentle, slow and deeply intentional. I blend mindful Hatha, Yin practices, breath awareness and meditation to support nervous system regulation, physical alignment and emotional release. Many students initially come to class with tightness, soreness or stress, but what they often discover is something more meaningful — a renewed sense of clarity, spaciousness and wholeness within themselves.
I feel especially called to support those who feel disconnected from their bodies or unsure where to begin their journey inward. I also hold space for women who feel stuck or stagnant, helping them shift energy, rediscover vitality and reconnect with their sense of adventure and possibility.
